Kryton Grooves coming back!

when will you be closing the group buy on the web site? might add a linear driver to my order just not quite sure yet.

As soon as we have enough to place the order...
Of course, if something comes up and someone needs a day or two that's perfectly alright.

Hey Moh I think your website is down? It says ZenCart and "Sorry!
There seems to be a problem connecting to our database. Please give us a few minutes to remedy the problem. Thank you."...

Edit: Ok seems to be working now! :)

I just ordered two 5.6mm. Get ready for a 500mW 635nm and a 1.5W 445nm :eg:
One thing though, i see everyone using flexdrive's with a spring for positive contact. Would i be able to use a round driver, like your linear driver Moh? If so how would i go about putting it in? Would i put it on top of where the batteries are stopped so the negative of the underside of the driver is touching the host and then thermally glue it there or put it on the other side of the little ring that stops the batteries and just let the batteries push it up against the ring and get the negative through the case pin? Thanks!

Yes i know but i was wondering if it would be easier or just as easy to put a round driver where battery stop is, but from your response i am assuming it would just be easier to use a regular driver and add a spring. Anyway, i cant wait for these things to arrive. Thanks Moh!

If youre using a C6 the easiest, would be to use a round driver. They are the exact size for the C6 pill, so you just swap out the exisitng driver board and you are good to go. You can of course also add a spring or blob of solder to the center pad on the board to make a better contact. BTW both the rectangular and round versions are linear drivers and its just the shape of the board that makes them different. Both of them, whether rectangular or round, should be heat sinked at 1.8 A.

Edit: Moh sent you a PM, PP still wont let me pay you?:wtf:

Edit2: Ok all good payment finally went through!:paypal::)
