there may be a limited supply of the 10X.
like the 5X so much on my Pl-D 635 nm That I dont take if off.
The beam exits slightly larger and extends the focus much farther away.
If you are into balloon burning and match popping you will be able to do that from a greater distance.
You can buy these now from JL but you would be missing out on the savings of having it sent with a laser. You have the option of getting a BE when GB #8 closes in mid or late Nov. OR with the group purchase of Ti-B
532/100mW.

I cannot sell you a 1W 445 PL-E unless you assure me that you have safety glasses- these are very quick burners and retina damage can happen faster than a blink of an eye- litereally.

If you intend to a have friends view your lasers you may give though to owning some 'guest' glasses/goggles- they dont need to be the most expensive but still give some protection.

I was not able to watch the great Texans game Sunday as we were breaking down our cook-off gear from 8 AM til after 1PM-
One of our best efforts this year.(14th)
We won Frist place for D.Khourys(our chief cook). BRISKET!!
Last time we placed first in brisket was 12 years ago.
The only better trophy and fatter check is overall Champion- (point system)
There 144 entries- We we four of those. It came w/ a check for $1,500-
For Showmanship/Hospitality- We got Third Place out of ~50 entries.
All 21 kegs of Coors got floated- 3 on Thur. 12 on Fri & on Sat. 6.

PL-E 400/532 is 400$ add $19 for extension tube and wallwart.Fixed focus.
Host finish choice needs to be known asap to be sure that you will not need to wait-silver-grey/Black/army green
PL-D Pro 400-532nm is 320$/pc and we only have key switch version now.
^^^ This may be the best choice..
It was already on sale at $400 so this is a good price drop on a great epic handheld.
Why?
It is one of the very best lasers ever designed by JL.
Not too big yet still has the feel of a real profesional handheld.
Very long run time -- 3 min or more if you feel lucky...lol
The BE is totally threaded- no set screws or allen wrenches needed.( the crown is not glued in place and can be removed for addition of the BE adaptor)
The BE looks very cool in place and improves the beam profile, you may never want to take it off . The BE makes the beam larger at the laser and thus extends the 'sweet' spot of best focus much farther.+
The price of the Ti-B 532/100 at the site is $199.99- for the forum group purchase (laser ONLY) is $159.99- the share of shipping 72hr, dhl express to ME is ~$6 per laser-
after I inspect the buyers will PP me the actual cost to FWD the Ti-Bs to each. That cost will be dictated by the buyer choices- like insurance- overnight etc etc.
I have 4 new Lighthound 14500s I can sell to you at $8.75( my actual cost) I need to kniow asap if more are needed as its a 45 mile drive to buy them in person(pearlandTX)

Those in the buys get first crack at whats left- the 10 X I know are almost all gone-
You can order one anytime at Jetlasers.org and pay full price for it and shipping or wait until this GB moves into the paying portion and post your request as well as PMing Me. The adaptors are made to be used with four different JL lasers. the smallest works well with any pointer except the very skinny ones.
The other adaptors sizes AFAIK are listed at Jetlaser.org- click the closeouts.
So there is no guarentee that your laser wll be a perfect fit with the JL models. Specifiacally the PL-E, the Pro Pl-D, and the now discontinued Pl-Cs -prolly the adaptor for PL-C is the most common size Pro handheld--
Set screws hold the BE in place on all except the Pl-D - its has an unglued crown that unscrews and the adaptor screws onto both the laser and the BE for a perfect fit.
With set screws it takes some fiddling to get the BE perfectly centered and some light often leaks around the adaptor causing a ring or halo.
At these close-out prices it would be a shame to own a Pro Pl-D and NOT at least one JL BE---- I never want to take my 5X off my 400mW 635nm PL-D.
One of the best bang-per-buck lasers in this GB is the Pro PL-D 532/400mW-- from an already sale price $400 down now to $320 iirc.. it has a key switch --not a coded one- IIRC it uses 18650 batts- very popular and cheap as they are in the battery pack (6 of them)of most older laptops.

I suggest you take a few pics of the entire MO and save for reference along with the part you keep.

SORRY started out as a feeler and rather than start again I just changed it-
I cant answer your question because you failed to put your location in your profile-- if its there then that will show under your username in every post,, I re-ship lasers only to CONUS.( & occasionally to Canada)
Only the 100mW/532 is offered- and these are the last of them-- no more will be made afaik.
