I didn't fail, idiot, you did. It IS cracked regardless of there being pandora or not. There was no pandora for the first half of the PSP's lifetime but it was still hacked. Also there IS a HEN. That's what I was talking about.
Yeah, they hacked a PSP firmware, like in previous psp's when pandora wasn't available. But the PSP itself is still uncracked. I mean, there is an exploit available for a single version of the firmware, but not for the PSP itself. Pandora meant cracking the IPL stuff, giving almost full control of the PSP, meaning you could even load your own homemade firmware if wanted (not a custom firmware, but a compeltely new firmware). You can't do it in the PSP 3000 because you must use a sony IPL that only loads sony firmwares.
So... PSP 3000 is not fully cracked yet. The only things done is the decryption of the 3000's IPL and part of its pre-IPL. Until pre IPL is fully decrypted and understood, it won't be fully cracked.

Stop preaching to me like I'm some kind of n00b. I already know all this. I've had a PSP since launch and have been part of the hacking scene since it started. Like I said, pandora =/= cracked. You've grown so accustomed to pandora that you've forgotten the glory days of PSP hacking.
MMM kinda nope. My psp is from the TA-082's era. I had to downgrade with risk it and deal with the fucken IDstorage. But my point is: cracking a firmware doesn't mean cracking a device. For now, custom firmwares are not possible in PSP3000 just because pre IPL doesn't load custom IPL's. You can do the same with a kernel exploit in a firmware... but if sony fuxxrs it... PSP 3000 will be fully cracked when pandora or similar method is available... at least for me.
However let's stop argueing about this and be happy with our PSP's k?

Why this is the most sensible thing you've said yet!
