Mine just showed up  Beautiful host and quality build. A very amazing color! My eyes are often drawn to the tiny amount of green in it unless I put it next to a shorter wavelength laser.

Here's an image of #EAFF00 (~573nm, which is accurate to my eyes+monitor) vs #FFFF00 (~580nm, 50% red 50% green).

Another fun thing, my 593.5nm lasers look so much more orange when I put them next to this 573nm.

Hello,

We have managed to build a limited run of 573nm Valkyrie units, using some upgraded modules at a higher power level! IMG_3874.jpeg

These average around 50 milliwatts, which has allowed them to be dramatically brighter than our previous 573nm units.

These are available now on our website!

I have the original and it is really bright so this must be amazing! I had a 36mw 575nm a few years back and you could see the beam in daylight. I may have a 2w ospl 577nm soon so I will pass but for anyone wondering yea this is going knock your socks off!!

NEED! Can owners of the current Valkyrie 573 trade up for the new one? Paying price difference and shipping of course

Does this power output include the IR or is that filtered out? If not filtered, what is the actual output of the 573nm???

I measured 10mW with my own IR cut filter on my original Valkyrie 573nm, and 20mW without the filter.
My IR cut filter isn't perfect so take it only as a rough estimate.

OK, so no IR filter so the actually visible output is much lesss than stated. This seller seems to try to dupe people with their lack of specs and shiny pictures.....

Most of our units do not have significant IR output. They are not directly filtered but the DPSS configuration does not output much IR anyway. This particular unit is likely an anomaly (or the result of Andrew’s specific filter, which he mentioned was not perfect) and not representative of our typical 573nm lasers.

In any case, even the post-IR filter output that Andrew described is within our stated power range of 10-15mW for the base level units.

What specs do you feel that we are missing? I would be happy to provide whatever you’re looking for. I can also take some comparison photos against a known power laser at essentially any wavelength as a visual reference for the brightness.

Thank you for the kind words on our pictures, by the way. We take pride in our product photography 🙂
