A while back, Google/niantic came out with a game called Ingress. It's a game where you litterally have to go outside in order to play. There are "Portals" all over the world. Your job is to capture them for your faction, create links and fields for "mind units".
This game is very addictive....shockingly and it's always improving. In order to play, you must get an invite.
Ingress (Request an invite on the bottom right of the page)
I also have 8 invites that I can give away. PM me your email address.
It's a little difficult starting out, but once you get the idea, it becomes very fun.
There is also a story line and an investigation page.
Niantic Project investigation
Once you get an activation code, sign in, then go to this website.
Ingress Intel Map
This will allow you to see which team is ahead in your region and also see where all of the portals are located.
This website here is for new people to learn how the game is played.

The people who play this game are generally very friendly. Don't be shocked if you make some new friends. I did.
Also, this game is litterally being played accross the entire world...so it really doens't matter where you live.
