When he turn the handle, he tighten/loosen the jaws.

What is exactly the name of this tool and where to buy it ? This tool is very useful.

Many thanks.

Never seen one. Can you give us some context? It may be something that someone fabricated for their own need.

Peace,
dave

I have seen one, but for the life of me...I can't remember what it is called

This sort of looks like a hand vise, where you turn the handle to tighten/loosen the jaws. Is this what it did in the video?

I don't know the exact name of it.. but I guess you could call it hand operated vise.. or hand held vice. Try the local hardware store they might have something simular

Here is some thing simular Hand Held Vice - Ebay

At 61 years old, I'm lookin' for my tool too. :-)

BTW how did no one get that? Bahahah  Hemlock_Mike you made me LOL for like a minute then I remembered what I was laughing about.....

If it's what I think that it is, it's a hand held vice. you must turn a part of the handheld part for the jaws to move. Not very useful if you have a real vice though

That torque ( moments about a point ) science depends on whether you're on the giving or recieveing end of it....
We needed this after a long week of paying taxes....

Seriously --- I work with an old blacksmith here. I printed the picture and will ask him if he has ever seen anything like this. It appears to me to be a part clamp and part hammer. The blacksmith shop has all sorts of old tools laying around but I've never found one of these.

Mike

Bobhaha -- Thanks for seeing the humor
