At least we know there is no IR coming out of those Green tubes
A few notes that may help others that bought one...
1) there is a Turn On delay once you apply power. So give it
time to turn on.

Near IR anyway. They certainly get warm enough to add in the mid-IR spectrum. Best to measure with a good distance between the two.
i mailed the p/s back yesterday. hope to have my tubes running by christmas. i've been searching for a male alden plug with flying leads for my bare tube without much luck. does anyone have a link to a source?
Photodiode based power meters have an advantage here, they do not pick up heat and have less drift so you have a far better signal to noise ratio compared to most thermal lpm's.That one is a sper scientific or something along those lines.
