Check where my habanero peppers are muahahaha :D

Let me repeat a hundred times how proud am I of my habanero peppers :D

Did you now that I have some haba....

that chart shows some disparity on habanaros... they are listed several times must be some difference between them.

line 5. Red Savina (Habanero)
line 6. Habanero Chile
line 12. Tabasco sauce (Habanero)

I think Hallucyn..'s is the "Red Savina (Habanero)" one. Don't know for sure though

Judging by photos, mines are red savina :) They are just an even hotter variant of the habaneros.

About tobbasco, it's a sauce that can be made from different chillis in order to get different grades of hot. The one made with habaneros, is obviously the hotter one :)

Working in the food service industry i have seen a lot of 'horseplay' in the kitchen revolving around peppers-like rubbing a habernero on the edge of somebodies drink when they are not looking!! I learned to put my drink up to my mouth but not quite touching it and watch the eyes of my fellow cooks-- if they are looking a little too closely I don't drink it!!! They can never keep a straight face!!

My favorie is to cut a bell pepper so it looks a little like a jalo and switching it as I put it into my mouth. I hold up the jalo ask ask=='are these very hot?' and then my mexican friends always say -- no... eat it they are mild!!! and jalos are actually sometimes not that hot either.

I put on a pretty good crying act and then say.. 'you are right these are not so hot' and smile while I eat the rest of it....

ROTFL ..... never understood peoples that hurts themselves with foods intentionally, but, hey, if they like it, what whe can do, except a good laugh ? (and no, i'm not trying to offend anyone ..... just a personal opinion)

BTW, i don't know the grade of purity of my product, but can say you that, when i make the capsicum extract for my shop anti-theft system, i have to use a breathing mask, also in the open air (and no, you cannot use it as "hot sauce" ..... but, probably, is enough for de-paint your car LOL :p )

I also have to use gloves when collecting my peppers. I did it once without them and had a small cut in my finger. It was the worst damage I've ever experienced. And my history of broken and dislocated bones is not short... xD

Btw, after some research, I've concluded mines are Orange habaneros. from 150.000 to 350.000 SCU. I think I might buy some naga jolokia seeds if I find them for cheap :D

LOL, don't know in Spain, maybe you can find them for cheap ..... here in Italy is a bit a pain, finding any things for cheap :p ..... i paid them less here than in any of the garden shops that i've searched in my country :p :D

I saw a seller on ebay selling the habanero seeds for 2€ with shipping once... XD

Edit: Ebay item #180489623116 ;)

40 seeds? Might we buy them together and then split them? They'll fit a leter, so I think we can share between all the european members for 50 cents each lol
