It could be worse. You could have decided that you wanted a 405nm 6X laser. Those diodes would have cost you about $280 each

You'll do fine.

i burnt up about 4 200mw diodes from aixiz before i learned my lesson. 40$ a pop....pun intended... :

My nightmares had finally subsided... and you had to go bring up the price of all those 6x's again....
