This all reminds me of troubleshooting flashlights at my old job at Office Depot(dont ask why, people are cattle sometimes)

Person - "Hey this flashlight is broken, I want to return it!"
Me - "Did you take the plastic thing from between the battery and the spring?"
Person - *looks mentally challenged* "wha-?"
Me - *sighs* *removes plastic from battery compartment*
Person - "Huh...."

Sometimes people are idiots. If your flashlight isn't working, check the batteries. If you don't notice the plastic thing you are either a dumbass or didn't check, in which case refer to the former adjective. I wish lasers were that easy to diagnose.

Hope somebody gets a kick out of that story.

I used to work for an internet company years ago and i went through 20 mins of trouble shooting with this older fellow.. I eventually asked him if he had removed the plastic cap off the end of the wall plug... He hadn't. LoL

You just reminded me of that...

Do you want to explain your situation tony? You will be waiting a while for SixTee9 to wake up (makes a conversation awkward when someone says "i bought the laser from SixTee9" and you don't know who he is). The problem with his laser is strange indeed.

P.S. Sorry i couldn't talk long tony, dinner was ready :D
