Headband for laser pointer

Newsflash - A patient recently had x-rays done at new hope hospital, a laser pointer was found in the abdominal cavity......

secure it well Dr.

Wouldn't the laser just slip out if you lean your head too far forwards?

They are Velcro Rubber straps holding the Laser...
What would be the point if they were not...:undecided:

@photonaholic... Link to original story or it didn't happen.....

I don't get why you need to have both hands free...Having it on your head could be sort of dangerous...

for a secret operation

that's why I also need a security system, and I control the laser (on/off) using wireless transmission (foot switch)... do you have any idea to prevent any accident?

He's a doctor in a secret operating room and needs to point at a screen
with the laser while he has both his hands in the patient...

At least that's what I can make of it by the skimpy information that has
been supplied...
(starting to smell more and more fishy....)

Home Depot sells a Husky, 1 watt, headlamp that you could easily modify. It could accommodate a lava drive, heatsink, and a red module. Push button on/off,3x AAA's, and it tilts up and down. Don't know why you would want to, but to each his own.

can u show me the link? :thanks:

This is the headlamp I was trying to refer you to. It's a 3 Watt, not 1 Watt, sorry. I has an aluminum head that would be very easy to put a heatsink into. Unfortunately, all I can find is links that talk about it. I usually go into the home depots located close by because the items in stock never seem to show up on their website.

Why it's shown on a bike here, I couldn't tell ya.

This link had some similar headlamps. You would still need to rig a pressure switch for your foot..

"No Mr. Bond, I expect you to DIE!! but I couldn't afford a big-ass laser with a ceiling mount, so I'm just gonna use the one stuck to the side of my head right here.."
