at home i have an ooooold HP dual channel 100MHz scope. At work i have 1 quad channel 300MHz Tek and one dual channel 300MHz tek with 16 digital channels, and also one compact 60mhz Tek, plus one 100MHz analog Tek, plus one tiny, almost pocket size, analog 500khz tek from the 80s.
This is the most frightening thing I have read in a long, long time
Peace,

the last thing i remember was etching glass business cards on microscope slides 3 yrs ago. its only a matter of time before the plastic bottle leaks(again) and ruins all things made of glass

As a guy who's been a machinist for 16 years, I'd stay away from those Harbor Frieght lathes. I looked at one and if you just want to give your money away I'd be happy to take it. but that's up to you. You could put a little more with it and find a used quality one somewhere I'm sure.Back on topic .. A bench top lathe would be nice .. I think it will be my next "investment" for the home .. Harbor Freight had them on sale recently .. but I missed it .. __________________

To phenol: are you sure you don't mean hydrochloric acid (muratic). I mixed chemicals for a cleaning supply company. I refused to go anywhere near HF.
