I dunno where to get one... I found the LED by itself on DX for $8 or something and I figured I would probably break it trying to put it in and the whole thing is only worth like $20... I already ordered a new light so it hardly matters at this point.

Re: Free: Flashlight host to a new home

What would shipping cost to Southern California?

Shipping to the US will probably be around $10... It depends if I can pass it off as a large letter or not...
It will be coming from Canada...
I already got a PM from Jufran88 asking about it so it may be gone... I will update the thread once I have a chance to check the dimensions and weight.

Wel you can find various drop-in modules on dx, you just need to find the ones with the right diameter and drivers ( dependin on if you want 1 18650 or 2 16340 )

Iirc, not to sure though, this one uses a so called p60 drop-in, not to sure if you can find it under that name on dx though

Maybe a flash-a-holic could jump in here:o

Hadn't put a lot of though into it.. it's too late now, I will do more research next time I break my light.

Thanks :)

what postal service do you use to ship?
also, how much does it cost to ship to Vancouver, Canada?
thx

Re: Free: Flashlight host to a new home

How many postal services do we have here in Canada? :P

Umm probably Canad Post unless someone wants to pay $80 to have a broken flashlight Fedex overnighted to them.

No idea what shipping within Canada will cost, probably 5-8 bucks...

I have to measure and weigh the thing.

Re: Free: Flashlight host to a new home

but $10 is still pretty less shipped to the US
every time i get an "estimate" its usually $18-$25 shipped to the US ...
and its also just a laser...

Re: Free: Flashlight host to a new home

Sorry guys I've been real busy. I should have some time to stop at the P.O tomorrow and get a few quotes to the US and Canada and then whoever wants it can have it... The first guy that was going to get it bailed so it's up for grabs... I will post the shipping quotes tomorrow and if someone wants it they can let me know.

Thanks, got your PP.
Dropping it in the mail on Monday hope you like it :)

Canada Post is retarded it costs TWICE as much to ship within Canada as it does to ship to the USA -.-
