I actually don't think anyone has really said anything rude.
But, perhaps that only me taking everything and turning it into something positive.

Anyways, I'm actually learning a lot about lasers now that I'm venturing out into the 'laser' part of LPF.

I thought this thread would be dead by now, but I guess not.

'Flaming' is often used as slang for 'extravaganzically', for example: "he was wearing a flaming bright t-shirt the other day, it almost hurt my eyes" or "he was using a flaming bright laser the other day, it almost hurt my eyes" :p

When someone says the guy walking down the street is a flaming homo then either the guy is on fire or his shirt is blindingly pink and the glitter in his hair reflects gamma rays right into your eyes
