This is a pretty good price, less than 1$ per mW. However you should send out a sample unit for a veteran to review. You will get a lot more interest then.

Has anyone received a response on a PM from S-KY? I've sent three PM's and none were answered. Bill

Yes, i PM'd them on 4-15 and she got back to me today.
I asked her if 'S-KY' lasers was different from 'SKYlasers'?
And she replied:

The laser offered here has been changed to a 200mW; but the one that they have listed in the Deals & Discounts section is still listed as a 300mW. Betty, it might serve you better to put both lasers for sale in the same place including pricing and shipping info. Thanks, Bill

Hi Bill,

Thanks for your mention.

Yes,I also mentioned this. They are different laser,200mW and 300mW.But I will do with your suggestion, thanks.

Sincerely,
Betty

Betty --

I still have to ask about temperature stability on these. My S-Ky 150 just put out 180 mW but dropped to 50 mW when warmed in my hand for 3 minutes. I can see the brightness drop within 5 seconds.

I always test with a good charged cell. Temperature appears to be the variable controling output.

Hi Mike,

We added Temperature Control in the new lasers.

Betty ---
Temperature control is good. What part is being temperature controled or are you adjusting the input current to maintain power?

I assume this is the same laser you sell at your website?
Does it have an Infra Red filter?
What is the recommended duty cycle?
What is the calculated beam divergence (in mrad)? <1.2 or <1.5?

Hi Betty,
How exactly does this new temperature control work?
How has it changed performance, can you give us a new spec on how output is affected after 1 min, 2 min and 3 minutes of continuous use and how it affects duty cycle?

Since Mike's laser is preforming very poorly after a short period of use, perhaps you could send him one of these newer lasers with temperature control and exchange it for his broken one?
This would be a good way to get a good honest before and after opinion of the changes in performance as the laser warms up.

Hi,

His laser is a gift we promised.

Hi,

Thanks for following.I should say this laser here is un-filtered,but the power is true and stable. And it is focusable.

Sincerely,
Betty
