Well you guys, if any of you make the cheap sound card DAC, the best software for beam shows is probably Spaghetti, which is fortunately available for a very cheap price at this time. http://laserpointerforums.com/f39/s...ow-blowout-sale-19-99-a-64210.html#post919939 I've personally used his original prototype versions which were not quite complete, but I must say it was pretty impressive and easy to set up with the sound card DAC. I'm not sure of all the latest updates, but it probably is the cheapest option, with plenty of features. (Though I will say that Spaghetti is often used for beam shows, not graphics... though things may have changed, I haven't had the recent version for years.)
Edit: Also, Spaghetti is compatible with many DACs. See his website for the list: http://hingednewt.com/Spaghetti.aspx, but just to name a few you probably care about is the Sound Card DAC and the EasyLase USB
