As one forum memeber put it:
"Dino Direct, Lasersman, Yourlaser, TheLaserFans. Pretty much bad feedback from forum members. I know Chinese business style cause I'm a Chinese too.
I live in Malaysia, for local we call it as - Cina Ah Pek company(Chinese Grandfather company)."

"Due to priority of making money, they will sweet talk to convince you, promise you heaven and earth...and that's the promise, nothing more or less. They might or might not fulfill their promise and it greatly depends how lucky you are when dealing with them. When the limited company went bust or stinks, they will recreate a new image to camouflage the old practice."

All of them under-spec and many with bad threads and several not working/dead---that tells the story right there.

My guess is nobody checks anything or does any quality control---nobody even knows anything about the product.
They do not take any care to do good business with acceptable quality products. Even when doing something with people on this forum where it should matter because people here know the difference, it doesn't matter.

Telling stories about it and asking customer service about the product problems is a joke when nobody knows what or why and they should have never shipped defective/faulty merchandise in the first place.

The only thing that matters to DD they have your money and that most people will not pursue them because of the small cost of the product and cost of shipping back and forth.

You can't expect Kaidy to be able to reform such substandard /poor quality products, horrible business practices, and contempt for the customers.

I think if I continue talk about our service and product and no aiming earn money thing are useless.
However, the members who brought our products have the right to judge our products and service.
I do hope that they like our products.
But if they do not, hopefully that we can solve the problem together.

I have to defend Kaidy. I can tell from the contact I've had with her that she truly does care about providing good service to her customers.
In the near future I'll explain more on what she is doing to help me but I can tell you she always responds quickly and has a desire and willingness to help.

I have received 2 units of the 4-in-1 today. Except that they are not 4 in 1 but 2 in 1. It only have the stars field effect and plain dot.

I don´t have LPM but I have a 92mw metered green from a reliable user of this forum and that ones have the exact visual power, so I guess both are 90mw.

They come with a 18650 battery and for the price I think is a great buy.

I would love to buy 200-300mw focusable red torchs from this site, but Im most sure that they will be <100mw .

The dots are clean and nice and you can burn matches in less than a sec.

So, Im happy with the order, but I know specs are in the territory of fantasy. Kaidy, is there some way for you to guarantee the power of some products?. Thanks, whatever the case

Rotate the star cap and you get more effects!

Ooops... I know the trick of rotating the cap... is not my first laser... but the cap I have has only this effect. In fact my case is different (plain yellow pale) and the laser aperture is perfectly aligned, so the whole laser is different: 2 in 1

Hi laserdelic, :)))
After you choose the focusable red torchs, you can send me the SKU and I w ill contact the factory of the MW. But I suggest you choose a higher mw to make sure it's over 300.
Hope this can help.

Figured I'd update on my experience.

100mw 532nm- seems to work pretty well so far, good beam, small dot, not sure of power, module appears to be mounted at a slight angle.

200mw 532nm- large dot, haven't checked diffraction gratings yet, dot is about 4" at 20 yards (rough guess).

Also, my laser with the safety key, didn't come with a key.

Does anyone know if these are IR filtered? I'm assuming that they aren't.

I would assume they are not filtered. You are safest assuming they are not anyway just in case.

Kaidy just like the earlier Cherrylees is in a position that I do not envy.
She is between the old rock and a hard place. The world of lasers in China has an even bigger divide between women and men. - From what I gather- guys dont like to be in sales and the gals are not allowed to be techs- So Kaidy is forced try to do the impossible, IMHO.

She is not permitted to handle any or many items- she has ,afaik, never been allowed to even just check out a laser projector. She was hired for her better than average grasp of English and that alone is not enough to be able to do her job.

I doubt she has ever seen a laser on a LPM. And when the volume of sales is as large has it must be at these companies-no one is 'allowed' to really take the time to do any QC . The profit margin is low and they depend upon volume vs spec and 'as discribed' items.

And the ones who call the shots surely know that if the buyer is given the burden of paying for returns this is the way it will always be.

WE sometimes get a wrong impression of how much 'clout' we have as a forum. LPF members prolly only represent a small % of sales. And even if our opinions were more important - how are the bosses to know this???
There is no way to track sales not made.. THis is not Ebay- where feedback is kept and rules make selling things 'not as discribed' a problem.

One of the newest DD(LaserFun) offspring lists over 4000 items-- more than 500 projectors alone. They rely upon the makers specs and discriptions which is bound to be inaccurate in order to get more sales..

So.. 'It is what it is'

If someone fails to do some searching and reading they will pay in the end when their 300mW 532 truns out to be 50mW. DD can set up a new company in around one day. Its just a matter of mass copypasta. Mistakes be damned.

Instead of.."anyone know about THIS china company" they should be ASKING ABOUT THE ONES WE HAVE FOUND THAT ARE WORTHY OF OUR BIZ.

Couldn't have said it better myself. There are several "grades" of sites and when the main goal is ultra low price the main consideration should be the final cost and the percentages of how often the lasers work and are satisfactory, taking into account the given that specs will not be met. I for one do not expect over 50mW from my 4in1 which is still a good deal and that is how I think.

@Kaidy
I placed an order for a single 4in1 on 12/30 and it still says processing. The site states that if its in stock that it should take 1-3 days to ship out. My order is 1107100005795 if that helps.

Len,
Thanks for your explanation.
Yes, almost 80% of what you said is the truth.
Because we do run many business so sales like us do not have seen the products. And even we want to see, the laser factory is millions mile away from us.
So hope you all understanding I will be the one who try my best to help you guys contact directly with the factory and your suggestions and problems will be taken care.

Hi ApexProxy,
I saw your order has been sent out on Jan 7th. I will send you a PM of your tracking code.:wave:

Kaidy here seems great so I would have to say her boss(es) chose well. Now lets see how well the factory did in holding to its advertised specs. If the laser caps 50mW I will have to call it a success and will likely look here in the future for other random laser buys.
