I didn't mean individual testing, I meant on one diode so we know what currents to run at. Same with the spectro if it were done, just to see if there is a correlation betweetn current/temp and wavelength.

I know. Comment stands.

If someone else wants to test a diode after they've received theirs and share the results, I say go for it. But I don't see any reason to complicate the GB itself with anything like that. No reason to create extra steps or potential for delay.

We can order the diodes at anytime now. I got some free time. And if we place an order , it will be at my palce within 4 days only. Then shipping to you guys is 7-14 days.

Surely a triple beam can't just be random chance- a fluke quasi-third die maybe, or just random reflections? Or is it definitively on purpose by mits- or does no one know?

I wonder how easy it'd be to knife edge the two beams and correct them - Not for a handheld mind you, for a projector.
