My galvos not matter how i hook them up put the image out upside down and inverted or 90 clockwise.
if i switch the x and y. if i hook them up right ie x to x y to y and G i get a 90 clockwise turn to the image.
If i switch them up x to y and y to x i get it inverted and upside down.
I cant seem to get it to be normal.
I am using laserboy and playing wav files.
I gave up on lfi for some reason it did not like my pc.

There is a function in Laserboy to invert signals in .wav's.

..... or you probably have one of your galvos wired in the opposite sense .....

Try to exchance only one couple of wires each time .....

BTW, which galvos are you using ? ..... with or without feedback ?

If its rotated 90 degrees, you have switched the galvos (or any connection to them). The galvos are likely identical themselves, you could have installed the X galvo in the position for the Y one and vice versa.

Its easy to make this mistake: Remember that the galvo that controls Y sits in the horizontal plane (ie sticks out of the side of the mount), and the one that controls X sits in the vertical plane (sticks out of the top). This is completely logical, but intuitively i'd be inclined to install something marked 'Y' in the vertical position.

i switched the connection from the board to the galvos it comes out right side up but the text reversed

So, reverse the leads for the differential signal driving the galvo thats projecting the X signal... Also, you can probably make the correction in software, programs like LFI have 'invert' tickboxes for most of the signals.

Its common to inverse the X direction by mistake. You'd assume that a positive x signal would mean 'to the right', but does that mean the right when looking at the projection on a wall, or the right when looking at the laser in a beamshow setting?

If it is sideways then swap x&y. If it is upside down or backwards then reverse the y or x connections. Or, if you have software such as Spaghetti, just check the Swap or Invert settings.

okay so if the image is the right way up but reversed i switch the wires coming from the correction amp to to galvo board.
If the image is upside down i switch the wires from the amp board to the galvos.
These are the same things? i think im confused.
Because im dont make sense.

If the image is upside down your Y-wires need to be reversed. If the image is a backwards like in a mirror your X-wires need to be reversed. If your image is sideways, your X and Y wires need to be swapeed.

but i cant reverse them there is only XYG so i don't know what to do there.

Since you are kind of in the dark about this my suggestion is just to fix it through the software settings.
