Gavlos outputing signal.

okay so if the image is the right way up but reversed i switch the wires coming from the correction amp to to galvo board.
If the image is upside down i switch the wires from the amp board to the galvos.
These are the same things? i think im confused.
Because im dont make sense.

It doesnt mater -where- you make the switch: you can do it between the correction amp and galvo driver board, or invert it in software... just don't do BOTH since that ends you up right where you started.

I would recommend -against- altering any connections between the galvo driver boards and the galvo's. This could seriously mess up any feedback mechanism, so make the switch somewhere before the driver boards.

Do NOT reverse which galvo is plugged into the X and Y outputs of your amps. Each galvo has a matching amp that has been tuned specifically for THAT galvo, switching around galvo's and amps will knock them out of tune. Each galvo and amp should have a matching serial number on it.

Invert the signals either with the connections between the amps and the correction amp, in software or by jumpers on the galvo amp boards if it has any.

Okay i got lfi player working and i was able to get everything to come out right and good just got to mess with my blanking timing and i will be DONE!@!
So excited to be finished.

Thanks you guys so much for all your help.
Just got a few things comming in like some diy parts from ken for my optical mounts.
And i have a feeling i am going to be spending a long time fine tunning this thing.
once i get to optical mount stuff from ken i will try to get up videos i am hoping my machined heat sinks will be done but if not i will try to make a video just a shorter one. I have had my ggw laser in its bag never touched it, if the heat sinks are not in it will be using the phr.
For now i was only able to build a working ttl driver but i am trying to work out a analog driver soon.

Ah well, you can always upgrade TTL drivers to analog ones when you want to - wouldn't be too hard. I'm still pondering analog drivers myself, seem like a lot of hassle for a green/red system, but a good excerise in rusty electronics :)

a red green scanner system? with blue rays getting cheap, even just a phr can make a scanner so much nicer. why not just throw it in there?

Because it will add complexity to the optical system, mainly.

I might do it on a future build, but for now just aligning the red and green correctly is challenge enough.

yeah i still have to align mine so we will see how hard it is. i hope just a few hours of work
