Game: Guess the mystery object !

I'm not playing the game right, I don't have a mysterious picture ready, but if someone would like to post another one up, please be our guest!

I was the owner of an Innova 70 for a while, and it had one of these installed  It was a beauty, was a shame I couldn't use it. I do wonder what happened to it sometimes, if the new owner ever got it running. eh, but I digress..

Okay - since I am still waiting to discover WTH my 'other' item IS---(that is a mystery also to me)l

Look at this:

That is interesting. It looks like it was made to attach to the end of a metal bar or tube. Have you tried
taking it apart to look for clues on the inside? The holes indicate that there is possibly a speaker or
buzzer inside. It might be some kind of alarm, but I am as clueless as you are.

sorry you have this item confused with my earlier thing i found at a car wash- we are still unsure about it- the red thing is known by me-

this item unmarked- prolly after market
some guess wind or bug screen- its very heavy duty- nylon case- the ends fold to AFAIK make it fit in the bad- too wide for a small vehicle-- I am showing it now at car dealerships in the morning to see if they know- I would like to return it to whomever lost it- nobody has asked at the car wash. 'sonic chasers' do they really work??
this item makes no sound of any kind and has nothing to do with bugs.

Obviously, this is used for polishing car antennae. Note the felt polishing flap, and the indention underneath for keeping the antenna aligned. You can even see the topside port where you pour in the Mothers brand antenna polishing compound.

It is important to keep your car antenna polished properly. Otherwise, radio waves present in the atmosphere may induce currents in the antenna, which would interfere with its normal operation, which requires absolutely no currents or measurable voltage fluctuations, no matter how much RF energy is present.

Edit: regarding the screen, I now believe it is a bug screen. It might be something that mounts in front of the radiator of a jeep or truck or something, or it could be something for, like, a fold-down windshield, for to keep bugs out of your face while driving with no windshield (not that I've even seen that before...)

yeah that may be what it is- it could go in the opening of the third seat (faces rear) in a station wagon- and the pull down part extends when you have the tailgate completely down..but in front of a jeep type vehicle I dont think so more likely from a caddy escalade - gotta be a 300$ item..

do I need to give another clue pic for the red thingy??

Hak,

Is the white piece of paper in the second pic of the red thingy covering up some sort of logo or other piece of information?

yes i put that over the name- would be too easy otherwise--

there is another 'part' that comes with-

alone each would be useless-

entertaining any offers for it- NIB -

Well it looks like some sort of case, which straps on to something, using the stretchy thing on the back. Too small to be a sunglass case... Looks like some outdoor hiking/biking/camping accessory of some sort. For some reason it's got those vents on the front, either to let something out, or to let air in. Hmm...

hmmm... is right--

this may make this too easy -- but these are more fun if not too hard

(thats what she said)

I should get to post another thing--

I think this will be known (now)
