Game: Guess the mystery object !

I expect something more specific, not only for "repair watches o jewelry) :D

Name of the object, for what it is used in particular.

Oh sorry, not sure of the specific name but my best guess is that it is similar to a micrometer. Used to measure and compair the thickness of multiple parts of a watch. Possibly having the ability to press gears and watch hands onto shafts as well.

the one for the older folks is a set of magnetic transducers from a video recorder a VCR, they go inside the spinning drum head.

Yes, very good pyro:beer:! I knew I wasn't the only one around here that's got a loooong history of cannibalizing electronics:evil:

Now lets see what you've got for us pyro:shhh:

I think this old thread is worth a bump to continue.

Heres the mystery object, although I know that a few members here will immediately know what it is and what it does, do you?

Cheers.

I have seen one of these before, I just can't remember what it was on.

Is it used for wood products?

Nope, strictly metal.... I'm not giving anymore hints after that one lol, it would be a dead giveaway at that point :D

It's for beveling edges on pipe or plate steel prior to welding?

My brain is a little fuzzy, I took a pain killer for a really bad headache.
