Coherent; yes(!) - so you were AF, I take it?

My FIRST Elephant Cage (and my first assignment out of training) was at Udorn, Thailand / 7th RRFS.

(That one probably *really is* an elephant cage now, if it hasn't long since been turned into scrap. I remember strolling down the streets of Nan Soong (sp?) ... alongside ... elephants)

She sheilded item is a sensor of some kind , not a mic.

Is a gas sensor?

More specific, maybe natural gas, ozone, LPG sensor butane, propane, something like that

^^ it IS a gas sensor i suppose it could detect any of them gasses, but for THIS particular application, its looking for methane.

Your soooo gonna love this device :)
