No, not a pump and not a fog machine ..... it does NOT EMITS anything, from the front aperture (but light is still involved in the working of the object ;))

(now i have practically said you what it is :p :D)

Ding - Kookapeli is the closest one, so can say it's the winner (also cause is probably impossible to guess exactly what this one is :p)
