Dude, would it not be MUCH easier to point the laser at yourself ?? ;D

I love chasing crows with my lasers, they react better than any other bird, they jump about 'tis very funny.

I also pointed my laser infront of someone on a bike from about 75 metres and they crapped it and almost fell off ;D they stood there for ages, probably thinking they had been searched by aliens or something :D

hahaha the bike thing is funny! mirrors seem to make the beam more visable, i think it widens the beam as it's comming at you, you can see dust particles easier. you would see what i mean if you shined it at the mirror.

i enjoy shining my laser at crows as well, if they are on the group the may jump around first before taking off. if on a street light they may look at the dot and follow it then fly either. but in both cases they can just fly away instantly.

I have tried it with my mirror, and my TV and other reflective surfaces in my room.

Yeah the bike thing was funny !

I also pointed my laser in the room of some neds, or chavs what ever you prefer, they were smoking weed and drinking and they crapped it, one was sitting at the window and he was crapping himself most :P Finally some revenge on those bastards ! ;D

Also have you ever tried pointing your laser at one of those road signs that is reflective :o its like mega bright, even from 500 metres away !!!
Dont do it with more than 30mW though cause it is REALLY BRIGHT even during the day.

You know, I found that as well. Pointing a laser at a mirror then back past your face makes the reflected beam easier to see than the original beam.

It makes it slightly wider, but its just as bright, suppose it makes it slightly more visible ...

Yeah, but I thought a wider beam would be less visible, because the energy density is less. Double the beam diameter of a 200mW laser and it's got less energy density than a 70mW laser.

Yeah but theres a larger number of particles for the beam to hit off.

The funniest thing i have ever done with my old (now broken el cheapo 5mW greenie ) was shine it on some white shutters in a walkway in town but nobody knew where it was coming from because i was on the second floor shining down lmao some old people stood undernreath me talking about it and i confused them by shining it on the floor infront of them lmao

and i cant say the stupidest lmao

I did that to somebody too!! except they were in the front passenger seat and they weren't black. It was really hard to get it to be focused because their whole skin around the dot would light up. I was using my DIY, so I had to focus it because the beam diameter is like 4 mm lol

I've never really done anything really stupid with my laser except maybe seeing if I could melt my cell phone (yes, it worked, I probably could have guessed a black phone would melt but I don't know what I was thinking at the time... drunk on power most likely.)

The stupidest thing for me involving lasers was something I said... I was talking to a really naive (but pretty) girl about lasers and she was saying something along the lines of "LOL WELL LIKE WHATS THE POINT LOL HOW DO THEY WORK *SNORT*" or something equally insightful, when I replied with: "Do you like rainbows? Yeah? Well you know how rainbows are all the colors? Lasers are made of distilled rainbows. You harvest the rainbows and separate them into their respective colors and pour them in these tubes. That's lasers."
It made perfect sense to her, and was probably the closest to the truth that she'd be able to understand, but looking back I have to laugh at how incredibly stupid that really is.

Target practice on reflective street/highway signs miles away is always fun, even during the day!

Put a piece of black electrical tape on your skin then burn it. Now that burns!
