 so I don't have results data like that.  All I can say is that it looked like a LOC when given the same current.  Actually it looked better because the die (line going through the dot) was almost nonexistent.

 how many people have these?Isn't that why I gave you the Copperhead...so you could collect data
I file away one side of the heat sink with a triangle jeweler’s file. In the case of an open can like this I always file away the heat sink on the protected side. away from the open area of the diode. Then when I see the side of the diode I use an X-acto knife to pry out the diode using the diodes rim and heat sink as leverage.
 
	 
	 
	Get one of those diodes and a copper module in Igor's hands and then you'll know what's up with it...
