let's wait for the review from Lifetime17 :) because the LPM contains a battery, so we have to ship out by Dubai DHL which waste 2 more days, i check status every day :undecided:

I received my "15 Watt LPM" last night....

I did a quick test at 500mW of IR and the LPM
read ~10% high. Not too bad for the price.
The 100% response time at that power was about
21 seconds.

I'll do more in depth accuracy testing later
when I find more time...

In the mean time I opened the LPM and have
attached a Pic..
It seems the builder likes to use White Silicone.
I only see an off-the-shelf 1S USB Li-Po charging
PCB a 1S Li-Po battery, Push ON-Push OFF
lighted switch, a Pot and an off-the-shelf LED
Display. There may be another PCB under all that
Silicone...

There is a handmade TEC sensor with a copper
plate attached with some Brush painted semi-
shinny black paint. Not sure yet as to the
adhesive used.
From the Size of the Heatsink and TEC it seems
like a stretch for it to dissipate 15 Watts of
Laser Power.

All is mounted into an Aluminum enclosure
that has been roughly cut. No CNC or machine
cutting was found.
The enclosure has been Wrapped with some
silvery colored plastic Mac-Tac type covering.

More to come later...

Jerry

Thanks for the quick heads up Lasersbee. I'm thinking for the price might just be a good buy. Looking forward to your review.

Hi
I will be recieving my LPM today

Ok i tested the LPM and it really is looking good from what i did.
First test was with an NDB7A75/ 9mm and from my LPM's it was very close to the readouts 4mw's +
second was a NDB 7875/9mm and very close also to my LPM's on by about 5mA difference
all had G2 lenses on.
For the price not bad at all to charge the unit it takes a micro usb charging end . What i would like to see is an led showing that the unit is charging.
The unit does not come with a usb charger that would be a plus.
So for now it looks good to go from here, next will be a NUBM44 powered by a PSU heat sinked, just hope the face plate can take it.

Hey Rich, very nice to hear you've got the LPM and yes the cable should be come with, and the LED power light should add in the next generation, now it's hide inside. and let's burn the LPM by the most powerful laser you have:beer:

Hi Tommy,
A NUBM44 test will be this weekend , just hoping the surface of the thermopile holds up, if so thats awesome . i compare LPM numbers to two LPM's i have both capable of over 7+W's. Also using G2 lens for the tests.

Ok Will not go further with any high power diodes until further testing is complete. Jerry will do a full review once done.

Yeah I saw that when it came out. It is designed for
High Power CO2 Lasers... I'm not sure how accurate
it would be a lower powers. The Problem I see is to
know the exact time to start and stop the timer and
when in the Heat Up cycle.

Hi Jerry, didn't notice you also bought the LPM and would like to see more reviews :)

Will do...............

The USB Charge PCB already has a Red and Green
LED on it. I carefully drilled a 1/16" hole to the right
and close to the USB connector and now I can see
the Red Charging LED and the Fully Charged GREEN
LED.

I did some Max power tests this morning and I got
what I expected with a Brush Painted on Coating.

I still need to check the coating linearity..

I think I'll open a Review Thread when I'm done
testing it. There is one other issue I need to
verify before the review.

@Lifetime17...
