WOW. Very nice work Offroad!, i just bought the same host form mrcrouse, and i'm going to mount a 9mm diode with a 2.3A driver and G-2 lens in it.. Can't wait!

Awesome work ORF, I am really impressed by the anodizing quality of mrcrouse hosts I wish i had the time and setup to try some myself.. Hosts are nice :D No wonder the anodized one sold first

Thanks guys! I just finished up some GITD on the black one. Here is a pic of the groove while drying. Still needs some touch up's:

I am considering to make a special edition... I will be a matt black powder coat with a certain type of grit on it. The stuff is awesome as it is very grippy and finger print resistant. Here is an sample i did on my threaded barrel cap:

Man, way to go for it with the GITD. I don't think I can bring myself to do mine. I have all the materials, a few different colors, but I just..... Can't lol.
Those thick grooves are sure to hold tons of epoxy. Will definitely be a bright glow!
 
These lasers look great! I'm very glad to see that they have enough heat dissipation to keep 3W lasers nice and stable! :eg:
 
Very nice video. But only holding these first hand will show you the true quality of these lasers. I'm still in awe of their cooling and performance in the focus knob. Soo smooth when focusing and a dream to operate. The people who got them are going to me very pleased

Can't wait for the mailman to arrive tomorrow :)
