Up for sale is five new custom hosts. They hold 2 18650 batteries. The host are prewired with a positive and negative wire. The host holds a 12 mm x 30 mm pre made Module for a quick 10min build. You can also just use the front part of the module for your diode and glue your driver inside the back of the heat sink, there is plenty of room for that. Host is 9" long, the handle is knurled and is 1" Dia and heat sink 1.5" Dia.
These hosts have a side momentary 3A switch. If you're looking for a host with great heatsinking and long duty cycle, here it is.

It's not a focus adapter it's basically just a cover cap. If you want it to be a focus ring I can build you one or convert that one over.

Reminds me of a couple hosts I had you custom whip up for me. Excellent work as always, and glad to see the simple cover stuck People. These hosts are great. One thing though Ehgemus, you should remove RPL style from the title. The owner/rep of Optotronics asked me to do this with my review of the first of these I had you make for me because it was part of their branding.

Wow! These so awesome!
I'd buy one or even two if I could...

Although I prefer a clicky side switch and 26650 batteries.

How is the module held in place? With a screw?
If so, are there other options to hold a module (like thermal epoxy, but removable)?

The module will be held in with a set screw. I have not added that hole to the host yet because I was going to ask the buyer if he wanted it or not. If somebody wanted to glue the module in there would be no reason to have the set screw because there is a negative and positive wire on these hosts.

If somebody wanted to glue the module in there would be no reason to have the set screw because there is a negative and positive wire on these hosts.

will the set screw affect the polarity of the host? for instance can you insert a 12mm module with driver use set screw to hold it and just solder 2 wires from host to driver? sorry if I sound confused ( I am) :thanks:

The answer to your question is no it does not affect polarity.

The polarity of the host will be negative if you put your batteries in positive side first. If you put your batteries and negative side first the polarity of the host will be positive.
