I was just wondering, how is the size the beam and divergence compared to the regular acrylic lens? smaller? or about the same?

Beam profile is thinner...

If it is focused to a close distance for burning, then the divergence will be more noticable. (same with acrylics though)

I would say that the divergence is fine. If you focus for 'best visual dot' at 25' to 30', this will give you a very nice place for a fixed focus laser. A good all around point of focus for normal pointing.

Just got back off vacation and when I got home I found my 405-G-1 lens in the mail. However I have a complaint about it, after installing it on my Aixiz mod I found that it is a burning monster. The beam is so much bolder when using it as a pointer. As for burning, I am now able to cut a piece of black electrical tape in half the time, lighting matches is instantaneous. I now can pop two balloons back to back without focusing on the second. Yes I do have a complaint about your lens, and that is the name, 405-G-1 does not do it justice. You should call it “THE AIXIZ SUPERCHARGER”, wow what a great investment this was, thanks for sending it so fast and the instructions were also very easy to setup.
