Got it today. Thanks. It looks like I just missed the copper option. I know the aluminum works good enough but I like the look of copper.

Yeah sorry about that, but I just recently decided to offer copper for this kit because it is popular with 12X builds. In fact, I don't even have the material on hand yet. But it has been ordered.

Your right about the aluminum being just fine though...

just fine? they're amazing.. my old one (now sold to mikeeey) i could keep running for ~3 minutes before even getting warm with an LOC diode in it!

I'll work on some later when I feel like disabling the smoke detectors. I have a fog machine and set them off the last time I tried to get some of my ArIon.

Slim 18650 host - Hey Jay, like one of these with Cu heatsink. I think I have all else I need, probably 60 18650 batteries, etc.. I have 4 v5 flex drives on order, just need a nice host like this one and nice heatsink. - $53 plus shipping? BTW - your lenses work well.. WHat do you know about Axiz UV lenses? I ordered 10, not totally impressed. DO you have any to test or shall I send you one..?

astrotoo, I did some test comparisons on that lens. It is listed with a bunch of other comparisons that I did. I posted the information here: (it's about 5% increase in power for blu-ray vs AixiZ acrylic)

Do you have any recommendations on 18650 cells & charger? Protected vs. unprotected?

I was looking at these two protected and noticed that the higher capacity version is about 1mm longer. Will that be an issue?
