Hey guys, I received my 200mw blu-ray laser two or three days ago (batch 1). I'll post some pictures tonight when it gets dark.

Cost to repair is shipping cost to Igor and from him and parts. No profit is made from repairing lasers, AFAIK.

••edit** - after further though, I (personally) would rather have Igor make a few bucks on the repair and get it turned around in a shorter amount of time. But... that's just me.

evrybody probably know by now that igor is a busy person, so if he doesnt reply emails or you dont see him on the forum it certainly means he is working...i know i have to been patient and all but it has been a while now since we got news from him.
people wont be disappointed for sure about igor's work but like in my situation i really need to know what is going on as i might not be at the shipping address i gave him!and if the parcel comes and nobody can sign for it or go and pick it up at the postoffice it will either be sent back or destroyed!!!!
everybody probably are in  different situations and somebody might need to get in touch with him for a more serious matter than mine!!
i guess what i am saying is we trust igor but it would nice of him to update the thread with something like
batch1 usa
username   sent
username2  not sent
so on....

batch1 uk
username  sent
username2 waiting for batteries
and so on...


everybody would just be soooooo more relaxed and reassured!!

No, he proposed me an 6x upgrade so I accepted. It's just that you'll have to wait a bit thats all. And it was also the end of december (around the 20th). No you don't have to pay anything for the reparation. It was just the diode that turned into a LED so I said to myself that I should get a higher powered diode so it could withstand a little more power, and last longer in the same time. He hadn't got the diodes until mid-january, and I waited a bit more so he could ship me with it the lens GB, but I lost patience, and asked him to send the laser about a month ago.

But patience will overcome my worries.... play piano, read comics, and I don't think of it anymore, it will come sooner or later, and I think I can wait (TBH) until the end of the month... lol

Igor isn't ignoring anyone - there just isn't anything else for him to say, so he might-as-well be getting other stuff done.

The simple, easy answer is YES:
• Batch #1 USA and UK has shipped (USA has been receiving lasers all week)
• Batch #2A and #2B have shipped (no orders received yet, but soon...)
• Batch #3 is in production

That's it, hope that answers your questions!

I think Igor has done his part perfectly and i'm not worry about that.

The major thing seems to be the shipping taked longer that what i expected (or may be what others expect too).

I think Igor is shipping them with Priority Registered Mail for orders outside U.S. I not familiar with this kind of service so not sure how fast it is, so what i originally expecting is it will take about 10 days to arrive, but seems it's not going to be that fast.

can someone who has already received their 6x blu to do a balloon pop test for me...how far can you pop a balloon?
also, how far can you light a match.

I have a kryton 6x that can burn red matches at 6 ft when focused just right. Same with ANY colored balloon.


Igor recently told me that Batch 2 was released by customs recently!

How's that for an update? We should be getting our shit soon.

Well, I have a PHR 124 mW BR Igor laser which can burn pink head matches at 6 ft, so I think that a 6x (I'm waiting for one of the third batch) will be able to do something better...

Relax mate, I've sent him two messages about one and two weeks ago, and I've got the same message as you. He never replied to me though...  :-X

Absolute worse case scenario is him being sent to the post office paying some heavy importing taxes.. why would he get rare earth magnets anyway ?!!?

that is exactly what i am talking about here....it sounds strange that he hasnt posted or replied to emails (as he said he would have)......for 2 weeks now.......hopefully everything is gonna be allrite.
i just gonna ignore i ordered a laser from igor and evenctually i will get a surprise.....in the meantime i might get a pocket mini........will it work with a phr diode?
