... it's been exactly two weeks since he sent it to me...

Now that's quite a different story, if he told you that he sent it to you (that's "sent" in past tense). If that's really the case then I'd maybe wait 'till the end of the week for good measure and then try to see what you (or Igor) can do to track it down... .

But... if Igor wrote "I will send it in the morning" or anything remotely like that, then maybe you should double-check the ship date with him.

In any case, I hope it arrives safe & sound

As I said before, I am from the 1st. wave USA. My question is, has anyone anywhere gotten a 6X yet. Also if Glenn in US is getting batch 1 and 2 for reshipment, why hasen't he posted weather or not he has recieved any yet. That would help. All this is getting a little ???????able.

Glenn should be posting about the status of the shipment since he is the USA 'redistribution' point... unless he and Igor decided Igor would handle all contact and communication to make things easier for Glenn (that's how I would have done it...). You don't know the setup, so stick with contacting the guy you bought the thing from - Igor.

If you feel like this is 'questionable' you have options. Explore them with Igor. Explore them with PayPal.

I expect we'll be hearing from Igor soon on all of this... I won't have anything further to add to the thread until Igor chimes in. No need to add fuel to the fire. What we know is that:
• Batch #1 USA Lasers have not arrived.
• Batch #1 UK Lasers have not arrived.
• Batch #2A and #2B USA lasers have not arrived.
• Batch #2A and #2B UK lasers have not arrived.
• Batch #1 lasers we're 'shipped'.
• Batch #2A and #2B USA lasers were 'shipped' to Glenn in the USA via expedited shipping (trackable I assume).

Other than that, the rest is speculation.

Okay,

a short but crazy story for my fellow Batch 1-2-3 peeps, laying in bed, on the couch, in your sleeping bags or wherever, dreaming about your near-future IgorT Killa Pocket [Blu]Ray Gun (ITKPBRG)...  

So now on to the damned story.

It's (last) Thursday night, was a long day at the office, followed by one (or two) drinks too many with the boys. Now I'm finally home, thinking to myself I've got some time to check my mailbox and LPF for the latest. I go to unlock the top lock, but, what's this, it's not locked!?! Now I unlock the bottom lock, chastizing myself for forgetting to lock both this morning.

I swing the door open, looking down at my shoes as I attempt to brush off the muck-like sleet from their soles. My gaze then moving upwards comes across, laying on the floor, my printer, my GameBoy Advance case, my...   :-? *thinks to himself*  :-?

"woah, woah, hey, wait one f#&king minute here, that stuff shouldn't be there!!!"

Then my gaze stumbles upon the pile of stuff on the floor just beyond my bedroom door and it hits me like a ton of bricks... I've been burglarized...  :'(    :'( Well, I did promise you a short story, so on to the crazy part!

Among everything else, they ended up stealing my brand new laser safety goggles...   but left the lasers that were laying right next to the goggles...  : I'm talking about a €150 50mW pristine 532nm LP as well as a DX Dilda and a few keychain mWs. Well actually, maybe the Dilda's "shape" scared them off...  ;D My guess is that they thought the goggles were the very latest snowboarding gear from house of Oakely Ca.  :

So there you go, there are worse things in life than waiting for an ITKPBRG... and just imagine if I had gotten mine and they had taken it...

...now gents, that is the stuff nightmares are made of...    ;D

Well there is nothing wrong with having high expectations from this order. I know I have them as well.

I read MANY MANY threads before placing an order with IgorT. I've gotten burned on a couple purchases via the net, and I'm not stupid - so I did my homework. I'm sure many of the other folks in these orders did the same. I asked around, I read LPF, I looked at his PayPal rating, etc...

After reading all of that and not seeing a single poor review or complaint, I was comfortable placing my order. My expectations were not set by me, they were set by Igor and by the reviews I read and I assume the same is true for you and everyone else. If I read that people were waiting months to receive lasers, then I would have expected that (and probably not placed an order). Likewise, I made sure to ask about expected delivery time... I was told when I ordered by Igor that he was waiting on diodes and that they were arriving within the next few days and he would build and send my laser directly after. That was about 3.5 weeks ago. There was never a mention of Glenn in Cali, or any possibility of a multi-week delay, yet here we are - right?

So yes... it's FINE to be concerned about your order. You wouldn't be human if you weren't. Batch #1 and Batch #2 have obviously not gone as planned otherwise people would be posting glowing reviews and burning matches and balloons while laughing like a 10yr old with a Playboy.

You're NOT wrong to want to know where your order is. That said, the last real piece of info we have from the guy that created your order is that it was 'shipped'. So take that as a fact, again from previous threads and reviews.

EVERYONE is curious to know why Batch #1 orders are MIA (missing in action), as the answer to that might help explain a bit of Batch#2 as well.

I bit worried to hear that even Batch #1 hasn't been arrived yet.......

Not sure what's going on with the shipping..

I'm in Batch #2, not sure when that will arrive ......... :-?

yeah, im in batch 2 as well......if you look at one of the last replies bi igor he said that batch 1 and 2 have been shipped apart from few european deliveries......and im one of them as he was "making"something else for me as well, but as i mentioned before, when i asked to him if i would have had my laser by end of march (as im gonna go away for a couple of weeks-and if should the laser turn up when im away.....now then i'll be reeeeeally pissed off!!) he quoted "end of march?that is a month and a half away!!you will have your laser ina good week"....not mention if he actually posted it or not...
i know the weather was bad over there but on his last email he also said (after my question - did you post my stuff?) he replied "yes, i can now post your stuff"......really grey area here guys.....
again i know h's a busy guy but it would only take a minute to update leaving everybody witha big smile on their faces!!!

Hi,

I've ordered bluray laser from IgorT and it was in batch 2 as I know.. Just want to let you know that I was just talking to Igor about it. He just got back from his business trip and he says he will handle all emails and PMs and reply to everyone, after he gets some sleep. Probably tomorrow (his local time).

I know this is not what you wanted to know, but at least something...

Igor is guilty of spreading himself to thin. He is trying to make to many people happy at the same time. Unfortunately you cant and it has come back to bite him. I know for a fact all his products are being sent, but because of his insane schedule he has wrapped himself up in, it may take a while longer. So have some faith and patience, they are coming.

Ok, i'm back..

I urgently had to run to my main real work customer, to fix a bunch of their devices, which they NEED, to do their work AT ALL. It had to be done and it had to be done fast. It all had to be working by Monday morning, so they could resume business as usual..

My company is the only place they can get these devices, which is good for me. But they use them 8 hours a day 5 days a week all the time, and they keep breaking them, and when that happens, i'm the only one, who can repair it all..

So if they manage to break enough devices not to have any spares left over, it usually means i have to drop everything, and run over there, to fix it all. Sometimes overnight. This time i was lucky. I had the whole weekend. The less lucky part was, that for some stupid reason, they never send me devices one by one as they kill them,instead they wait till they fry a bunch of them, and create an emergency situation, like now.

I barelly managed to fix what they needed for work in time. Took me two more days to fix the spares... Got back yesterday evening, too tired to go answering emails...


But at least now i get to send them an invoice with some nice big numbers on it...




I see i have a ton of emails piled up again. I will have to move email time to the evenings, when i'm not working (sometimes).


Some of you wrote me last week but got an automated reply instead. That means i tried to answer, but it didn't work out. We had a huge snowstorm here, everything stopped for three days, and i was having trouble with my internet, which is why i set up the automatic responder, in case i couldn't get online. If you followed the instructions, i will know who got my replies and who didn't, so i will attend to everyone in the evening. Until then i will be working, cos i still have a bunch of stuff to do (Batch #3....)



The following weekend i might again not be available, but only cos it's my birthday, so i hope it doesn't cause mass panic.


No one has anything to worry about, your stuff is either taken care of, or being taken care of. I will attend to everyone individually per email as fast as humanly possible! But i do have to work at the same time. So i'll have to organise my stuff better, to be able to handle it all at once....


Anyway, i have to work now, and i'll get to answering emails after work (after the last post office closes)....
