Once again it turns out i might have been too conservative with the expected powers..
A PHR-803T diode can reach 117mW at only 90mA with a Meredith lens, as shown by Jayrob in his awesome MXDL builds! He mentioned a 30% increase before, but i never imagined this! It's almost 50% more!
This means that overdriving will NOT be necessary to reach >100mW with the 405nm AR coated glass lenses.. Even 90mA will have an amazing power, never mind 98mA..
This is great! I've never been this excited in my life! ;D Can't wait to get the custom lenses.
It would be amazing to reach that kind of power safely.. Even more amazing if the 405nm coating could increase it a bit.
