Mod #2

AS epoxy bond of chip resistor to base.
no problems reported but it's a good preventive measure
to be sure the resistor is not damaged and lasts.

I was just testing out mine tonight with high current using a FlexModP3 driver and it is awesome to have such a nice duty test load.

I would just like to add in a few words about Jeff :)

first of all, hes an awesome guy... He answers all of my PM's fast and with detail and never gets angry at newbs.

The first things I ever bought through LPF were from him and I dont regret it :D He got everything packaged up about an hour after I placed my order and shipped it the next day.

Everything he sells is top notch and I would reccomend him to anyone.

At this time I only have three with copper heatsinks and seven with aluminum heatsinks.

I really do love this test load! Scenario:
You have 20 v5 flexdrives and you need to set each one's current, FAST, what are you going to do? The normal test load would burn up if you're trying to set the drivers one after another, but not with this test load!
I use this 3 Amp beast almost every day and I'm never worried about it getting too hot! Its really relaxing when you can just go about you're business, setting up flexdrive's, and not having to worry about duty cycles on your test load. :) Definitely recommend this product, great customer service and fast shipping. Its also really nice having the switch for red and blue diodes so I can easily switch between the two.
