FAIL THREAD!!!!

Been there, done that.

Took off the steering wheel, then had to move car. No big deal. I've driven cars without dashboards. You have to pace yourself with the other cars, as you have no speedometer. But it was only to go from one shop to another.

Somehow I doubt you were driving on flat tires, high on meth, and weed, and hitting things along the way.

My second car, old ford escort, at one point my fuel gauge, and speedometer both stopped working. Drove like that for a few days until I could get it taken care of. Basically paced other cars, or drove fairly slowly.

This is mostly Fail with one Win at the end. If you have fond memories like I do of eagerly waiting for the holidays just so I could watch the same Holiday cartoons every year, than yeah, this is pretty depressing ;) You might not want to watch...

Holy crap... right in the childhood! It hurts... I used to watch that show as a kid and I loved it.

Far more than I ever wanted to know about ducks, and also :wtf:

Strangely after watching a second time I found that she must be a product of having a less than stellar relationship with her father... or that is her brother

I was towing a car one day using a chain. You know how to do that, IE ,I'm sure. This was funny as I had to get the car out of a parking space. So it was my right rear end of the bumper (yes that was when cars had them) to his left front end of the bumper. Now picture what happened when the lead car accelerated or the rear car braked. We were a sight to behold.

 Go EXTRA slow, and use hills to brake!

I kind of miss not having a front or rear pushbumper. The so called "bumpers" now days suck. Yes they absorb the energy of the impact better, but in a slow speed crash they still get absolutely demolished.

Actually kind of a big win it reminds me off. When I was 16, a camp counselor, the camp school bus brakes failed on a downhill road. The driver Juan managed to finally stop the bus by driving up into the side of the hill, onto the front law of a house that sloped up. Two cars along the way were hit, and the bus damaged, but but the only injuries were small bruises and scratches. Could have been a whole lot worse.

The fail part... why the hell don't school busses, and busses in general not have 3 point seatbelts? If the buss had rolled (and it came very close) it would have been a whole lot worse. Makes me think of the sweet hereafter everytime I see one of those yellow busses.

Oooo... A keycleaner :)

This is how you end up getting a ticket for doing 60 in a 25, when the speed limit of the road is actually 35. Then you're given the option of pleading to a non point offense, but one that has a surcharge. Should you choose to fight the ticket, good luck, because it's your word against the word of a cop, and one of you has to be lying. It certainly can't be the guy with the badge.

On a lighter note...
