Time Committee Procrastinates


The International Telecommunication Union, an arm of the United Nations, recently announced with great fanfare that it intended to settle the "problem" of leap seconds once and for all.

At their meeting on January 19th, the committee decided to kick the decision down the road for another three years.

Thats typical. Now they have their jobs locked in for at least another 3 years.

LOL! I had a similar thing happen when I was just a lad

I was taking a girl for a ride on my scooter :D

She wanted to go "fast" :p

When we broke 100mph, I turned a bit to yell to let her know :tinfoil:

As I turned, my glasses blew off of my face :wtf:

I was suddenly going 100mph without any eye covering. :can:

We slowed down pretty quickly at that point :whistle:
