I am a laser noob. I have read around on this forum for a few days but haven't found any reviews for a Lyra. I have seen reviews for the Evolution Pro of 130mW and 150mW. I have gotten a good vibe from them. I read the guide to buying a green laser and i saw the Lyra so i checked it out.
I will list my personal pros and cons for both.
Evo Pro
Pros:
Costs A total of 57$
Looks Awesome
May be Overspec????? I need to know if this is true???
Continuous Duty cycle
Cons:
Heard bad things about Wicked Lasers.
Class IIIb
May be Underspec??????????
Only 3 Month warranty
Lyra-5B
Pros:
Guaranteed 4.0-5.0 mW output
6 Month warranty
I trust laserglow more.
Class IIIa
Cons:
Doesn't look as cool.
Cost 2 dollars more
Not continuous duty cycle
OK... so now that you have my opinions...i NEED yours.
I am going to be using this laser for presentations,Light experiments and shining it at walls i want something durable that will last a long time.
I am leaning towards Evo Pro because of the continuous duty cycle.
