aw with the flex v5 out of stock i'm kind of hesitant now....thinking maybe i should go with something that can be made with micro drive (what ever it's called)

they take 1xAA battery...so they would just be flex drive hosts...no 445 for them....
If these are actually AA size (rather than AAA size) then the 14500 battery will fit. The 14500 will work fine for the 445nm diode with the Microboost driver.
At $15 a pop. I would buy a few.

stock comes with a 3xAAA pill. I'm going to size it and see if it fits 2xCR123, or a single 18650 battery.
i will be buying one of the new host kits regardless of battery type, but will buy several if it can use an 18650! also these would be fine for a green build with an inbuilt driver right (maybe with some modification and the module sticking out the end a bit to make up for extra length)?
@ mohrenberg- just checking, these still come with a heatsink right? and can u post international to Australia? if so how much?
