Do people really read sigs?

theres some of it:

I like the colored collection sigs. Not that I read them all, but I always take a look!
Mine needs some simplifying as well but it's hard to decide what info to include..
As for previously owned/dead/wanted lasers - I don't think they should be listed or we'll all end up with huge 100 line sigs.

BTW: I think that color tool is very off. I used it at some point but everything looked the same, now I prefer to exaggerate the color difference instead :P

*cough*
Hai guise...

Guess mine is too long?

Notice it's even condensed. Just for shoots and gigs, I made one without separating them.

Well good :)

Notice the updated post with what it COULD look like.

I need to fill that gap with a CuBr. Or a Kr+

Well the color tool is a very basic tool... not to mention, every person sees colors differently, and looking at one color affects the relative perception of the other color sooo

@bloom: o.ô nice one!

@hwang21: that's true. I used to see 532nm as a very pure green and now that I have a 520nm I see the 520nm as pure green and 532nm as slightly yellowish. If they're side by side the difference gets absurd, 532nm looks almost completely yellow.

The tool shows pure green as 510nm... that must be quite blueish.

I should be getting my GLP532 in the mail soon, and then I plan on doing extensive beamshot comparisons between:

GLP-532 5mW
Laserbtb 520nm 5mW
HeNe 543nm 2mW

Hopefully I can get some really good shots with the wavelengths at similar powers. The 543 and 520 should balance out the 532. I may also throw a 473 in there to balance the 520.

As a relatively new member I can say that I do like clicking on links in signatures, including links to lasers owned. hwang21 I also like your innovative new sig that contains a googledocs link to a full list of your past/present/future lasers.
