DIY Thermal LPM for under $50

Finally after almost 4 weeks the TEC module arrived. For a single order you actually get 5 of the modules.

This thing is tiny. That is a triple A cell.

I ordered exactly one month ago and still didn´t get it :( So it looks like I will have to make a dispute.

My recent order @DTR I made about 2 weeks ago already arrived though the distance is larger than from Israel to Germany, so it looks like the TEC´s either didn´t get shipped or got lost.

Talk to the seller first before opening a dispute. It will make things a lot smoother.

after 3 weeks it arrives to mee too.
i've not mounted it, i'm waiting for the voltage meter now :)

My DIY LPM is comming soon with pictures + video... :)

I have one question:
Dont exist for this DIY LPM "usb connect" sematic ?
THX boys!

If you're asking for a data logging add-on there's an Open Source one here, under $20 to add data logging to your DIY LPM :)

I cant order this finished circuit ?
Beacuse to Slovakia OSH Park is free, but digikey $ 60 shipping to Slovakia :(

Dont order me anyone from America and send it to me by mail and I pay him with paypal ?
So there would be no more than 20-25$ "digikey items + international shipping".

PLEASE P.M.

Hi Boys!

Does anybody know how to do the second display will show maximum of current measurements. I think it should be a circuit with IC ? And reset with new measurement or with push switch.

What do you mean? Which secound display and what current? The LPM has just one display and this is measuring the voltage.

I want connect another display, which shows the maximum value what is measure.
To show the maximum of the other display, i want for this one circuit with IC to memorize maximum value.

like this, but i will have 2 display... one for actual value and one for maximum value... and for memorizing maximum i need shematic.
This is bad idea ?

I see. But for this you either need a programmable LCD panel or a complete extra logic, but then I think it´s cheaper to buy a secound hand Laserbee.

What do you think Honeyx ?

Peak Detector by IC LF353 ( I think LM358 is the same )

This is circuit Peak Detector voltage input, Use IC LF353
This be the circuit Peak Detector or checks pressure electricity topmost level is easily.Which I uses integrated number circuit LF353 be the integrated circuit op-amp perform measure electricity pressure or , compare with the pressure there. When see the circuit has already you will like. Because the equipment is a little and build easy. regard circuit idea well yes.

Unfortunately this circuit will not work well for this application. The use of the diode D1 will cause a 0.6v drop for silicon diodes, ~0.2v for schottky diodes which means the output of the opamp will be 200mW to 600mW lower than the true peak detected on the input.
