Diy laser. Please help

I don't know, look for it.
Why do you want a two? Just buy two of those and connect them in series.

right.... lol  ;D

For the heat sink, will a small plate one work? tell me which one  ;D Thanks!!!
No, you need an actual chunk. You could use a CPU heatsink. Are you putting it in a box or a flashlight? If in a box, you could find a small CPU heatsink and drill a hole through it for the module.

Cheers

Yes, tell us what kind of host you're going to use.
For a heatsink you could also get a whole bunch of washers drilled at the proper size so that you can fit your aixiz module in them and then glue them together using thermal epoxy. It may not be a perfect heatsink but it's better than nothing. :P There are lots of ways to make heatsinks.
Use your imagination. ;D

Its a box style! and I found one this is $2.00 link and looks cube-ish there is a second one but it costs more

Try finding a smaller one. How big is the box?

1+3+3=7 <---tiny heat sink! lol
That project box is 8 inches in length!?! :o
is that too big? there are other ones...
Thats pretty big... unless you are doing some serious circuitry.
5 inches is more than enough.

This one uses the heatsink from a DX labbie red, LM317and 2 X RCR123A batteries.
All in a case 4.5" L X 2.5" W X 1.25 H, so yes you can go much smaller.

Very nicely built, Rog ;)
Puts all my lasers to shame... :-[

@ Spyderz20x6, It also uses one of the sharp near IR LD's that you were posting about some time ago, did you ever do anything with them?

Sorry for slight thread-jack Artix.........you can have it back in a mo..... :)
