DIODES on SALE!!

I would just like to chime in that these diodes are awesome, nice and clean and work perfectly. I think i got a lucky a140. Powered it up just now and am getting 1.5W+ out of a blitzbuck at a little over an amp. +rep AB
 





Thanks I appreciate that. All the ones I tested hit 1 5 watts or better. The ones I have now came from a brand new projector.
 
I'm trying to get some new diodes like that. I've been told there are new high power green diodes coming as well. It's just a waiting game at this point. I'm not convinced the 08 is anything special yet. But if it turns out to be a powerhouse I'll definitely grab a block.
 
AB- did you get my last PM about the m140/ knife edge combo?

BDG I think your driver has to be putting out way more than an amp for you to be getting 1.5W. I've been surprised before quite a few times though and it's all good:) Sounds very unlikely but you never know, maybe you found the most efficient A140 every and it will last a really long time.

Got any 07Es left? I got a host coming in from Gadget and I really wanna put a nice 470nm in it :D

Your going to love that WL hitting 470nm , I have a few and they can do over 470nm + with a SXD with ramp up at 9 milliseconds set to 5A's .. thats a great diode be careful its a decanned diode so keep it clean and it will last a long time. keep that SXD sinked and your good to go..
