Cool Knife.

Sorry to disappoint you Jai XD Luckily nothing really serious such as a car crash but in a case were some glass needs bustin' I'm up for it :D

Although when I first got it I was playing with it in my car and when it opened it cut my sterring wheel lol

Theater knives are a great peice of history, some can be traced back to the civil war :)

Ballistic Knives.

Without getting into it, my section in Berlin was "concerned" with Spetsnaz activity (mid '80s or so).

Spetsnaz - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

BTW; Spetsnaz knives have an "extraction tool" built into the pommel... for getting the blade out, if it's lodged on bone. I can't be certain (I've never seen one of these knives up close), but I THINK it's the middle one above. (I worked ... "with" ... their "signal'in", not their "'stabbin").

I recently got my first decent knife. It cost 9 Euros from a souvenir shop in Spain and is by a company called Crossnar. I'll be putting up pictures when I feel like it, but you guys will probably just tell me how awful it is.

I gots a Ka-Bar fighting knife. Does everything a Knife should do ;) The USMC is my "beater knife" I have a Navy version nestled away with the rest of the bug out gear

1095 carbon steel. (Doesn't field sharpen well though..)

And some CRKT Folding knife a buddy got me just because "I should be ashamed I carry a gun yet don't carry a pocket knife"

As this is my first real knife, is there anything I should be aware of regarding knife care, or is that stuff not worth bothering with for a 9 Euro souvenir-shop knife? Either way, I like it a lot.

It looks like all stainless.
The only care I can think off is to blow the pocket lint out of the locking mechanism now and then. :D

Got me some titanium action... We're talking 4.8oz vs. the standard 6oz for a S30V SMF...

Not sure whether to post this in this thread or in the For Sale section, but what the heck.

My 2 Microtech LCCs are for sale. Both are the awesome double action. To anyone you hand an LCC to that doesn't know what it is, it's a perfectly normal manual folder. But to you, it's a hidden switchblade. A fast, excellent switchblade. The mechanism is activated by rotating the metal bolsters, and is very cleverly hidden. Pictures below.

First is a Gen4, carbon fiber handles, dark aluminum bolsters, stonewashed plain (non-serrated) 20C-V blade. It has been carried but is in good shape except one flaw: the tip is gone from a drop. It's honestly not too bad, about 2 or 3mm is all that's missing. I have a pic comparing a perfect blade to the broken one below as well. I'd love to get $300 for this.

Second is a Gen2. Being a Gen2, it has the titanium bolsters. It also has carbon fiber handles, and a plain blade. The blade is the 154-CM alloy, and its finish is bead-blasted. This knife is PERFECT, and includes the box, papers, and nylon sheath. I'd love to get $500 for this.

Pic below, the picture of the 2 blades is just to compare the broken tip to the pristine blade.
