How was the packing?

Duty cycle is going to be pretty long on these. That's a lot of metal. Although I've had the tube get warm after a couple minutes, but not the head. I don't think any numbers have been posted. I only have one PGL, and it's the 80mW 589 model.
 





Packing was great I just did a 3 minute test. Bloom with your blessing should I post the graphs or wait until everyone gets theirs.
 
I did the 3 minute test and decided to let it run 30seconds past the test to see if it stayed stable. Well it dropped to 100mw. THERE WAS NO DAMAGE DONE SO DON'T WORRY! LOL

So I turned it off and let it cool down for 10 minutes and put a fresh battery in it and ran a 2 minute test and it looks like something is now going on with it's run times.

It seems like the driver overheats what do you think...

I am using a fully charged panasonic NCR18650PD to test the laser.

I am very happy with it especially hitting the 800mw mark!!!

My laser has arrived.

I guess I'll have to erase the "coming very soon" after the PGL-III-C-500mw in my signature.

Mine got to my house before work. First battery gave me what looked like 50mW. I thought "nahhhh". So I popped in another battery and BAM! Over 800mW of 532nm greatness!
 
got mine. very pleased!! my shutter wasn't opening fully so I have to hunker down abit when i open shutter.
 
I am taking mine out to a dam tonight to see it in total darkness. :D will take pics!
 
Yes, got mine too! 200mW of 671nm goodness! It looks a shade of red deeper than my 660, but that may just be a hallucination XD

So glad to have another PGL. Love these hosts.

Are you sure? I just built a 25mW 685nm and it looks almost exactly the same as a 3mW 650nm (or 660, who knows) on a side by side comparison.

OTOH my camera picks some color difference and makes it look much brighter.
 
Wolfman, I thought you got the 100mW version? What is it LPMing on it?
