Is this too late to get anything? Sorry, I had promised to take part in this GB, but I had a huge amount of school issues that looked like they might need my money so I could not commit earlier. Turns out I got booted out of the college for failing two programs in a row so I am just gonna work for this semester, which means I have plenty of funds for lasers and CAN afford something no worries.
 
For your sake, 2007Revolution, I hope he says yes.

For my sake, I hope he says no, because it's another excuse to slip in another laser order that I shouldn't "affordize". :)
 
It won't slow down the order, the yellow PGL III lasers are the longest production time, don't worry, CNI has it all being prepared. And w/ no PGL III green lasers ordered, things will go well this time. -Glenn
 
Glenn,

I was planning on almost definitely getting a high powered PGL-III Green if/when GB#8 happens.. is that going to be a problem in the future?
 
Hey aryntha, and anyone interested, I am assured that CNI will now send "in spec" PGL III green lasers, and I hope it's true after so many mode issues, so, I will be ordering more PGL III green lasers if wanted in GB #8 about Feb 5-12 or whenever at least 8 lasers are on the order, (this is to help lower shipping cost per unit), I also have great deals on Viasho green lasers and I have more confidence in these. I will be getting a GLP-532nm 150mW and possibly a GLP-589nm 5mW whenever the next GB (GB#8) occurs. Can't promise about the 589, but I will for sure be ordering the 532.
 
I may have missed it, but Glenn, do you know the prices for the PGL-H-473's? Thanks again for all the hard work you do. - Proto
 
20 mW or 25 mW PGL-H-473 About $400 3V driver and $405 5V driver and as high as that is, it is before any shipping or PP fees! -Glenn

I don't know if I'm jumping the gun here but, Is there any word on when these packages will be shipped out?
 
I just asked, and CNI is still working on getting a really fine set of 589nm lasers ready for the buyers. (Sorry for you 473nm buyers, those come easier). -Glenn
 
I'm fine with fine. o_O Especially if "fine" means "overspec" :)

... I'm both a 473 and a 589 buyer in this GB. Does this mean I get to have an existential crisis about making myself wait longer than I should have to? If so, I forgive myself.

(Hope this goes well though so I can get a high powered 532 at GB#8 -- or go with Viasho, depending on what Glenn recommends... )

Glenn, could you see if CNI could get me a true <5mw green laser? Preferably in the traditional pen host with pulsed output?

I'm tired of looking everywhere and finding "5" mw lasers that do 30mw. I want one that's 3-4mw like it's supposed to be.

maybe have a look also @laserglow they have low power units
