CNI GB #10 (June, is Planned for delivery)

I have no need to ask them, I just believe you. There is a language problem. Nothing less, nothing more. I´am happy about what you do, but sometimes I don´t understand, and need make things clear. Lets move on..
Seems to be no way to get some high quality, high powered laser (200+mW, focusable) These days.
This is really expensive fun. Maybe I´m going to buy some cheaper piece for now (under 50$), but it´s racional to buy high quality piece, If It´s price is Too high to buy it from your one wage money left, so I´m not going to buy any 200+mW laser DX,Focal, or even Rayfoss crap. Now I have to study offers and 200+mW focusable models, and maybe on christmas, I get one. (I mean, I ask for ordering one).

I´d ask once again, Why 18650 is recommended over 2pcs of C size? I´m not keen on this part of issue, but I have nice charger for C´s and I see it is bigger in volume, so it should give more power capacity than one piece 18650. Till you need higher VOLTAGE.

Anyway I need to think What am I spending my hundreds of bucks for carefully...

That seems like a pretty good deal how'd you work that one out? Have you posted a review of this laser?

Becuase of my negotiating skill

Look at my signature.
WLasers has a 200mW greenie for $130. You have to search around a bit.

Please, Do not kill me, but I could not find working wlasers page to look at it, and I cannot see what you mean in your signature now! If you mean O-like one, I know about it, But I´m going to get better, maybe stronger, more expensive and not at least more SEXI one :-)

off topic
You got a PM ;)

Hey friends, I had been away for a mountain retreat weekend, so I'll answer a couple of the questions raised now, the CNI's don't come with case, battery or charger, so sorry. Sometimes a rep at CNI will quote an individual a laser price, but may omit that it is not including shipping, (costly to ship), and also they usually like to be paid by Bank Wire Transfer, that may cost you as well. I ship priority USPS insured, usually about $16 for a unit, and if needed I may be able to help obtain battery or charger, or try Larrydfw, his are top quality. Thanks and Best Wishes! -Glenn

Still one 589nm PGL III -C laser on hand and ready to ship! It's rated 5 mW but hits 30+ mW peak and is 24 mW typical! $570 + shipping (about $16 in USA with Priority and insurance), + PP fee, (if paypal is used) -Glenn

Thanks for the bump Pontiacg5,

Everyone please note:

Any laser that is not FDA approved for use in the USA such as GLP 532 nm >5 mW is not going to be offered unless you pay to ship to your country, (non-USA address) separately from my GB and or are buying a "laser Module" which you still must be responsible for incorporating into your own device which still is required to conform to FDA/CDRH rulings. I will not take an illegal order!

All the PGL III portable lasers are fully compliant with ascension numbers and safety devices, as are the GLP 593.5nm and such that are <5 mW.

questions about the PGL III-C-671nm 150 mW/Unit $345:

1) pulsed or CW?

2) Beam divergence, Beam diameter?

This laser is going to be CW from what I understand. The first one sent out to Aryntha was pulsed but the others after that were said to be CW. Beam diameter and divergence is very similar to that of the 532nm C series lasers. Much better than the crappy beam specs of the 655nm and 635nm C units. I may pick one of these up in GB 11. I have never owned a DPSS red laser before.

Yeah, mine was pulsed, 700hz (and pretty early as far as 'mainstreaming' this goes - THANKS GLENN! - for making these available at sane prices.) ;

I can tell you right now that the beam diameter and beam divergence on these are comparatively excellent. Nothing like the red diodes you're used to. This is NOT like the Laserglow Orion in the PGL-III-C host (aka the PGL-III-C 655nm) -- it's NOT a divergent square multimode beam. I've got one of those, too, and while it's a hell of a laser, it can't match the gaussian beam quality of DPSS. Compared to a Dilda, this is a completely different animal.

I've got a PGL-III-C version coming in this GB - it certainly is supposed to be CW. If you want something in red to "match" a 532 or 473 or 589, this is it...

I really want the Spartan PGL III-M-532, but can't afford it quite yet... I'll hold off till next GB, hopefully it'l still be available!

Just wait till you see Twhites review his was WAY over spec. I'll also be posting a review once I recieve mine.

awesome! I really look forward to that then!

btw I can't tell.. is this PGL III-M use a clicky switch or push button? and what's the long thing that sticks out the back?

edit: nvm I just read his review. Unfortunately the lack of a clicky switch and a 5 second delay really turns me away from the laser now... still, I guess you can request to not include the FDA safety features? The push button is still a real turn off for me.. :undecided:

I wonder if they take special requests, where they can solder the driver switch and use just the clicky switch in the back (in place of the key) to turn it on.

That is the key switch. The one in the diagram has a momentary switch.

Based on Glenn's post, he may not be able to get the clicky-only M anymore.
