If these were on boats, they would probably be going through the port of long beach. I am pretty sure they are on planes. Anyways, if your USPS tracking says origin post is preparing shipment, it is in transit

I'm getting ready to put in an order for batteries and was wondering if anyone knows what the optimal battery would be for the HL 405-500mW. Their item description specifies 16340 but that's it.

I did a fairly methodical search of their site but could not find anything more specific.

Did I miss something? Anybody got any clues?

I thought about just waiting and see what shows up with the laser but I can't help but think they're going to be the absolute cheapest batteries available.

@ Kevin (if you're following this thread) --- I'm not complaining, I just want a couple of sets of high quality batteries for my laser.

I picked up 4 IMR 16340's from a fellow member for only $18 shipped.

Yep the 16340's IMR's are the absolute best batteries available in that size!

But beware for shorting them you got a problem if that happens. Things gonna smoke and burn like you cant imagine

Concerning the batteries, I ordered some protected 16340's that were mentioned earlier in this thread. Got them yesterday Together with an exotic little yellow/greenish spider

That's normal bro. Oversees shipments usually sit in LA for a good chunk of time, up to a full week sometimes.
