!CLOSED!: THE "Skylaser" (laserBtB) groupbuy!

LOL you could just drive over and nab it.

BTW, out of boredom I just current tested some of my 16340s. I have a couple IMRs I got from yobresal and they dropped 16A and I tested a couple of my standard 1000mAh Ultrafire Blue 16340s and they dropped 15A. I don't know if this is normal but both types of batteries could supply almost the same amount of current an hour after taking them off the charger. Of course this does not tell me anything about how long each battery can supply these currents or anything else. From usage alone I have noticed that both types visually drive my 445s the same and the ultrafires last easily twice as long. I would love to do more extensive tests but so far the Ultrafires that cost me $1.60 each that last twice as long as the winners. Hell, even if they crap out in 1/4 the time that's still less than most IMRs.

Nope still in LA. I must have looked at it wrongly the other day. I'd give it 2-3 more days before I get worried.

NICEEEEEEEEEE !!

The PL laser is much bigger than the HL laser. That is a sweet laser.

That is a big size difference. I was thinking they were closer in size but wow.

Anyway, mine too departed the "City of Industry" so I would expect it to be delivered Monday or Tuesday based on speeds I normally get from that area.

I have to say that I am happy that so far the shipping speed is far superior to the one DX uses. My DX stuff has been sitting in Hong Kong for 8 days now >.>

Once we all get these I think we need to make a group effort to... simplify their use. I actually think the key lock mechanism is a good thing but the other interlocks could go. I would also like to be able to unlock the laser and not need to key again until I wanted to relock it. I don't know the required sequence of unlocking but I'd just like to be able to use the key alone and just perm unlock the others. Its not like this laser would change the FDAs view on my set of lasers as they are now so may as well bypass most of it.

I was actually thinking about trying to devise a real clicky switch that used a lock and button in the same unit. Use the key to unlock it and then remove the key and press the lock itself with your finger to activate. That way I could make my laser set safer while keeping operation simple. As of now I just lock them in a gun case which also works XD

Yeah had a bit of a shock myself there :)

But this still has a duty cycle of 5-10 minutes with one minute power-off for rest :)

Say's so on the sticker.

Amazing....

So is the free gift :)
