I was curious as to whether there is a noticeable difference in actual colors from the 515nm and 532nm? Also would the beam at the 30mw be visible at night?

I use IMR 16340's. They are the best cells imho. They really get the max out of your laser. Especially if you have a HL532-300 that only uses one 16340. The output can be really different with IMR's. I do not have experience with the juice cells. You might want to check the voltage sag with different current strains. And check how much mAh they are. Also if others could chime in with pictures of the tripod that would be great :)

Yes there is a noticable difference. There are a few threads in both the multimedia section and the review section about them.

Yeah not this GB anymore thats for sure. Maybe future GB's. That is if prices come down anyway. Don't know that either.

Recieved my extention tubes today, and couldn't be more happy about them :D

They are really nice and thick, and can't wait for my 18650's to be fully charged so i can test them in my PL808 wich took 16340's first... but with a output of over 5W the 16340's heated up (olmost cooking!)

Any idea when the next CNI GB is going to be a possibility offroad? There were a several things from that last one I would have loved to have been able to get in on to grab..

Also, offroad is just doing the Skylasers GBs.

Yeah, I seen that, but I didn't know if y'all were working together, and had some sort of system or like alternating schedule my bad, and I looked at the active members list on the front page and thought that I didn't see your name, must have overlooked it while I was bouncing back'n'forth between the like 5 windows I had open I apologize, DJNY, do you happen to have a plan or possible thoughts on when the next CNI GB might go down?

man oh man, give offroads a break! His three GB's have been very good and very fair. His GB's are from Laserbtb not CNI so how would he know when the next CNI GB is (unless he was doing them with CNI before Oct 2012). Look in the GB section and see who is doing the next one. He puts the prices of the lasers on his first post and it is what it is. I would think if you could get one cheaper elsewhere you should probably do it and not complain to him about the pricing. He is doing all of us a favor by doing these laserbtb GB's and it is not fair to see him being abused. I hope I have not pissed anybody off but come on.

I'm not complaining about this GB I'm still in on this one I just also want to get in on the next CNI GB as well since I thought all of the CNI GB's were closed already. I'm not upset, or out of this one possibly mistaken but not upset with offroad by anymeams like I said I thought that perhaps offroad n djyn were possibly in better communication about it and perhaps he would know since I ADD'd out there for a second I'm sorry. I will delete those posts and next time just pm the the GB "master//directors" directly.

hi mdubbicus, Sorry to pop off but I feel for offroads. He has worked hard on the three GB's I have purchased from and it seems everyone is up in arms over things he has no control over. Peace !

Hey guys chill out :beer: i have no problem talking about cni GB's here as long as it does not take over the main subject of the thread.

I do wanna make clear i have no connection to any other company then laserbtb. So any question regarding other companies i cannot answere. I am trying my best to give you guys a better deal. I spent the entire afternoon today to make a word file with everybody's orders and info. About my communication with kevin. I do find it helpfull if you guys give me suggestions on what to discuss with kevin. But i am no wizzard nor am i the CEO of laserbtb so i cant arange everything..

I appriciate everyones enthousiasm and everyone that helps me and others in this thread out!

Now lets have fun again!

Hey guy so i got an explanation from kevin about the 532PL pricing.

Hey!

The reason on the PL532 pricing,just because all my engineers are concentrating on fiber laser pointer, we get bulk orders in domestic China,so we do not have enough time to build that.

The difference is assembling cost and storage cost,when we buy bulk of materials. If we would concentrate on 532nm, that would lower the price. For now we prefer to select LD lasers,like 515nm, 520nm...

ehh.... not sure if telling them EXACTLY which company is cheaper is a good idea.

Just giving them ideas to form a cartel...

but doh well... thanks for offering fellas on LPF a new option :D
